nnnnAPPLICATION
nnnnWhen developing the unit construction type volute pumps of series
nnnnZTKD, the main objective has been to turn out a number of floor
nnnnspace saving, easy-installation types especially adapted to the
nnnncirculation of mineral and synthetic heat carriers in
nnnnprimary
nnnnsecondary and
nnnntertiary
nnnncircuits.
nnnnBesides these units can advantageously be used as main
nnnncirculating pumps in heat exchangers of
nnnncompact design
nnnnwhere they, owing to their constructional features, offer brand-new
nnnnpossibilities to the plant manufacturer for the layout of a system.
nnnnDESIGN
nnnnSingle-stage pumping units of compact design. Nominal
nnnnperformances and flange connection sizes according to DIN 24255
nnnn/ EN 733.
nnnnThere is no common shaft for motor and pump, the motors used
nnnnare of the standard type listed.
nnnnOwing to the process design, it is possible to withdraw the whole
nnnninsert assembly without removing the casing of the pump from the
nnnnpiping system.
nnnnThe individual shafts of the unit connected by a plug-in coupling
nnnnfacilitate the dismantling or replacement of the motor without
nnnnaffecting the pump.
nnnnThe DIN 4754 specifications are complied with.
nnnnAt present, the programme comprises 9 pump sizes.
